However, the Coaching industry has been criticised for its paucity of diversity, as highlighted by a recent report by Roche and Passmore (2021), on structural racism within the coaching ecosystem.
The report calls for urgent action and for the coaching ecosystem to adhere to more equitable and inclusive policies, and to encourage and promote research with strategically diverse populations, conducted by intentionally diverse researchers.
